Well, the plumbing thing turned out to be a very stupid thing. I worked with my brother in law to take off the hot water valve under the kitchen sink. Everything looked clean (almost unused even) and the pipe looked clear. I was very worried at this point.

Then out of desperation I went ahead and turned on the hot water switch for the washing machine... and water came out of the kitchen sink pipe. So in the end, it was only not working because the shut off valves at the main console were labeled wrong for that one thing. Silly, but glad it was something that simple and we didn't have to pay any plumber!

Good luck with your house. I hope you get it. We'll have to come see it once you move in!

Sounds great (aside from the plumbing thing) good luck going forward. We just put in an offer for a place here in Surprise, hopeing to hear something by Monday. I'll let you know, maybe by then you'll have a closing and can get moving, literally.
