From Bad to Worse
This one will be really short… kind of like my scores:
140, 170, 193; 503 series.
I just can’t seem to make even easy spares. I would easily be over 200 average if I just made the easy spares. Is my problem trying too hard, or not hard enough? I don’t know; but I have got to figure out my spare shooting somehow.

I’m having the same problem on the Wii lately.
Meanwhile, Daniele & I are cursing the current economy for stalling construction on all three of the proposed bowling alleys. This is causing us to have to drive 30-40 minutes to the closest ally. Though they do have a good Sunday morning deal.
By the way, I don’t know if this is the case for you, but I did notice after having drastically lost weight in a short time I had to readjust how I did many things, like bowling, where my overall stature factored into how I accomplished something. Perhaps this is the case for you, that maybe you just need to relearn to compensate for the loss of overall mass.

J,
You could be more right than you know! I went golfing last weekend for the first time in nearly 2 years (and 40 lbs ago) and my swing was completely different because I had about 3 inches less on my waist. Perhaps the same is true with my bowling line; especially with spares.
Maybe it is time for a new lesson to learn how to adjust and see what my swing/release is really doing.
Sorry to hear about the bowling alley’s. Want to go into business together to build/run one? 🙂

Aside from not having any capital, now would be an ideal time for that, with leases and prices what they are.
