Under 200!!! Finally!
This morning, I woke up, put in my contacts, and did my official weekly weigh in… 199.8! For the first time since sophomore year in college, I’m under 200 lbs. I know it is just barely under and weight can fluctuate but to see a number on the scale that doesn’t start with a 2 is a pretty good feeling!

I know just how great that feeling was when I almost it (200 never quite made into the 100’s), and now I’m working to try to get there again (210 as of today down from 235).
Keep working toward your goals.

Good for you… This is another similarity we share; I’m 6’2″ and about 230. I could stand to lose a good 20-25 lbs. It’s a goal of mine for this summer. Also, I missed a 600 last Tuesday by 17 pins: 232, 190, 161 (sigh). I’m looking forward to renewing my pursuit of 600 next season (as well as maintaining at least a 170 avg.)…
P.S. How long ago was your sophomore year in college?

Sorry about the 600 series. Try to keep bowling over the summer, at least a bit, to stay at your current level.
Oh, sophomore year in college, it was some time ago… we’ll just say it was over a decade. 🙂

I figured your college days were a year or two behind you… I’m in my mid-40s. (I can’t even remember college…)
Yes, I will be (for the first time) bowling in a summer league. Maybe 2, grad school schedule permitting. A postmortem of this past season, which ended last week, revealed an incredible amount of consistency…I consistently missed routine spares.
And you keep at those “devotionals”…
